Man, 59, Dies Wearing the Same Pair of Jeans as When he Was 17

Dolittle, OH - A local resident who passed away today was wearing a pair of blue jeans. Interestingly, it's the same pair he'd worn when he was 17. His Mom had bought them in a local Gap store in 1971. Bob's worn them on and off during his whole life, he said. Size 30 jeans are still in "acceptable" condition due to proper care and careful usage.

"My size hasn't changed much, so they still fit me when I became a grown man. I put on a few pounds when I was 50, but then I lost them again," as his neighbour remembers him say.

"Over the years we have been seeing him in the same pair and everybody was, like, OMG, is it REALLY the same one, Bob? And he would say: "Yes, I just take good care of them." "He used to wear them really carefully, never went near ketchup and used a delicate cycle on the washing machine. That's what he said, anyway."

Apparently, the pair was really comfortable and manufactured from durable fabric.

Back then jeans were usually made in the USA and sometimes advertised "to last a lifetime".

The jeans will now be donated to charity.
